Unlike a traditional yoga class where you're thrown in with a crowd, we'll breathe, learn essential poses and then flow and rest. Each week, we'll build upon the previous session. By the end of 5 weeks, you will feel and see an overall improvement in health and well-being. You'll journey inward as you practice what appears to be outward actions. Meeting every Wednesday evening in community, you'll set the stage for your daily life that goes beyond the mat. Through practice in a nurturing environment, each week you'll cultivate strength, build confidence, and care for your body, mind and soul.
Spaces fill up quickly, so register now to receive:
- Entry to 5 meetings/practices: Five Wednesday evenings in May and early June. Mats are provided for your use at the studio. Class begins promptly at 19:00 and ends at 20:15. Doors open 15 minutes before class so arrive early to get settled in and ready to move your body.
- The Yoga Poses cheatsheet is available to download right now to add to your Kindle or use Gumroad's reader or other PDF reader.
- A print copy of the book Introduction to Yoga No. 1 by your instructor - that's me :-) Amy M Adams will be distributed at the first class.
- Students who in enroll in this course have the option to enroll in YOGA 102 a continuation of this course - for 5 consecutive Wednesday evenings from 11 June to 9 July at a reduced rate: five weekly live one-hour sessions where we continue to introduce and explore a variety of poses, take time for breathwork and incorporate other yogic ideas and practices like mudra (hand gestures) and mantra (sound) we put them together in a movement practice session.
- Course is taught in English - Amy understands and speaks Romanian and English
LOCATION - Centrul Self Awakening -near parcul Ferovialor in Cluj-Napoca. You will receive a reminder email with the address, directions and other info before our first meeting.
YOGA MATS - Mats are provided for use at the studio. If you have your own mat you are welcome to bring it.
WHAT TO WEAR - Wear comfortable clothing - loose or fitted as long as you are comfortable and can move your body. Arrive early if you need to change your clothes.
5 WEEK Yoga Course/Flow FEES - Course cost includes all five sessions and course materials.
FEES: Early Bird pricing totals 50 euro if paid by 30 April (approximately 250 LEI ). Fees for all 5 sessions total 50 euros with TVA. TVA is ADDED at checkout, so the price shown here is without TVA. Regular pricing in euros will be 60 after 30 April (approximately 300 LEI).
We start promptly at 19:00.

About your facilitator: Amy M Adams is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, and a Reiki Master. She is certified to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. She is the author of Introduction to Yoga, Book Number One from the Don't just think it, do yoga series. Author of three other non-fiction books, she teaches courses and workshops virtually and in-person, including Effortless Meditation, Coping with the Loss of Your Pet and others.
